Breath Training & Yoga Breathing

What is yoga breathing and breath training?

Traditionally, meditators used yoga breathing as the gateway into meditation. These breathing techniques helped create the relaxation and focused attention needed for deeper practice. In the West, this essential foundation has often been overlooked — which is one reason many people find meditation difficult to learn or stick with.

Breath training is different. It’s simple, accessible, and fast-acting. Breathwork can ease stress, support better digestion, balance your energy, and improve sleep — and most people feel noticeable benefits from their very first session. No prior experience is needed. I take a straightforward, science-based, practical approach suitable for everyone. You don’t need to attend yoga or meditation classes to experience the benefits.

In your discovery session, we will:


  • Discuss your main health challenges or concerns
     
  • Talk about your lifestyle, stress load, work patterns, and sleep

This is a gentle introduction designed to give you a real feel for the practice and to help us decide together what type of session would support you best.


30 minute In-Clinic Breath Training Session:


These focused in-person sessions are ideal if you want targeted breath coaching without reflexology.

A session includes:


  • Breathing pattern assessment
     
  • 1–3 tailored breathing techniques for stress, sleep, energy, or digestion
     
  • Practical guidance on integrating breathwork into daily life
     

These sessions are suitable as standalone appointments or as follow-ups after your discovery call.


90-Minute Breath Training and Reflexology Session:


This session brings together breathwork and reflexology for deeper nervous system regulation. 


In your 90-minute combined appointment, we will:


  • Review your current wellbeing needs
     
  • Practise breath techniques designed to calm, balance, or gently energise you
     
  • Follow with a full reflexology treatment to reinforce relaxation and restore balance
     
  • Develop a simple home practice so you can continue the benefits between visits
     

This option works especially well for anyone feeling overwhelmed, “wired but tired,” or stuck in ongoing stress patterns.
