Herbal Medicine Consultations

Initial herbal medicine consultations last an hour during which time I will take a detailed medical history covering all aspects of your health and wellbeing. I can advise you on your diet and lifestyle and will make up your herbal prescription based on my observations. This can include herbal fluid extracts, herbal tablets/capsules, teas and other supplements. Your prescription will be prepared in my pharmacy and posted out to you. 

I will ask you to return for a 30-45 minute follow-up appointment within 2-3 weeks, where we can discuss your initial progress. Subsequent appointments come at monthly intervals, but can become less frequent depending on how you progress. 

For chronic and long standing conditions, please bear in mind that treatment with a herbalist requires a sustained commitment from the client if it is going to be successful. 

Online Video Consultations via Zoom, Skype or Google Meets for follow up appointments are an option if you are unable to attend in person in North London.

Most plant-based medicines that I administer to patients have been lab-analysed, and where possible, are standardised in keeping with the latest scientific research. These medicines come from the most established and reputable medicinal herb farms in the UK and Mediherb in Australia, the world leader in professional herbal medicine preparations. These companies strive to run their businesses ethically regarding the environment and the safety and efficacy of their herbal medicines. 

The overall cost of herbal medicines will vary, depending on individual requirements, and this is established during herbal medicine consultations.

• A standard supply of fluid herbal extract costs  approximately £15 per week.
• Individual loose herbal teas  £5.00 per 100g
• Bespoke herbal tea preparations cost £ 10.00 per 100g
• Bespoke herbal cream preparations  £10.00 per 60g
• Bespoke herbal oil preparations £18 per 100ml

My herbal pharmacy resources can be recycled or reused, and many of the resources I employ come from recycled sources. For example, the plastic bottles I use are all PET recycled bottles.

My practice adheres to the professional code of conduct of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. This means that anyone wishing to purchase a bespoke tailored treatment from my herbal pharmacy must consult with me first in person. Individual herbs or ready-made mixtures can be purchased through my online store.
